World Under-21 champion Max Fricke will make his full FIM Speedway Grand Prix at the IPONE German SGP in Teterow next Saturday.

Fricke, who appeared as a reserve in Melbourne last October, replaces injured Danish champion Niels-Kristian Iversen, who is still sidelined with a broken shoulder.

Fricke has been out with an injury of his own lately after suffering fractures to the winglets of his C6 and C7 neck vertebrae in Vetlanda on August 1.

But this year’s SGP third reserve has declared himself fit to take on the sport’s elite at the Bergring Arena and he joins fellow Aussie aces Jason Doyle and Chris Holder in the meeting.
